Attorney General’s Department virtualisation roll out on Christmas Island, Cocos Island, Norfolk Island and Jervis Bay.

As the Attorney Generals Department’s IT infrastructure was requiring replacement, Dataflex was approached to offer a holistic hardware, software and storage solution.

The rollout included delivery and implementation across three remote locations, Christmas Island, Cocos Island and Norfolk Island as well as mainland Jervis Bay.

As part of the solution, dataflex managed the delivery and implementation of a VMware virtualized infrastructure as well as local storage and archive solutions. The dataflex team also supplied each location with PCs, developed the Windows based SOE and installed all hardware components.

The project was implemented smoothly, and seamlessly handed back to the Attorney General’s Department in-house IT team for ongoing management.
