Brian Evans is the founder of Dataflex, and continues to oversee the growth of the company. In 1987, after a successful career working for some of the worlds best known IT internationals, Brian established Dataflex with a staff of just two people. The vision was to build a privately owned Australian SME company that delivers high level product and service knowledge, with the highest standards in customer service. It is a model that has proven extremely successful. Today, the company has grown to be recognised as an industry leader in the highly competitive Federal Government space, and has been recognised with a number of industry accolades, including being awarded the CRN magazines converted ‘Fast 50′ award for growth. Dataflex employees over 35 staff across three sites and markets products from over 230 national and international vendors.

Andreas Deakin is the CTO of Dataflex. Andreas has spent over 15 years in the ICT Industry and manages the activities of the Dataflex consulting and services area. Previous roles held include IT Manager for an automotive supplier (7 years), Principal Consultant at Casolute (2.5 years), ITIL process development for the Gerling insurance company (3 years). He is a highly experienced manager and has a sound understanding of technical planning, design, architecture, probity, purchasing and accountability policies and guidelines.

Chris Churchill has been in the IT industry for over 17 years. Chris has worked primarily in sales and sales management for a range of IT companies including: Dataflex, Acer Computers, TPG, APCD & Allbids.
Chris has experience in dealing and negotiating with Government at the highest levels including managing complex roll outs and sales delivery.

Gray Slater is the Sales Manager for Dataflex. Gray has been in the IC&T Industry for over 30 years, the first 12 years in roles in IT sections of several Commonwealth Departments. He joined the private sector in 1991, accepting a role with Wang and has been performing professional services and sales roles with several organisations since that time. Gray has worked for large multinational organisations including Novell, Sun Microsystems, Computer Associates and most recently SingTel Optus and smaller SME organisations such as Protech, Datamatic and Com Tech. Through this extensive experience Gray has developed a comprehensive understanding of the particular requirements and business imperatives of government organisations and has successfully delivered positive outcomes and established constructive business relationships with his clients. Gray has negotiated many significant and successful solutions implementations and established several long term service contracts with these clients and through this process has established many trusted relationships with government representatives at all levels.

Simone Davies-Brown recently joined Dataflex as CFO having run her own successful accounting firm for 10 years. Prior to running her own firm Simone has had extensive experience as a Financial controller working for several large local Canberra companies. Simone has had 19 years experience in total in the financial industry. Simone qualifications include:

Patrick Cheetham is responsible for Cloud Solutions and Data Storage Architecture within Dataflex.

Patrick holds enterprise technical and design certifications with Hitachi Data Systems, VMware, Brocade and Cisco and has 8 years experience in ICT design for Federal Government.
